When do you plan to take this course? LAI 539 is typically offered during the fall semester.

Each student will create a Science of Reading portfolio. This will consist of a 5 to 6 page paper and artifacts from the 539 class or their teaching. The portfolio will articulate how, and provide examples of how the individual is prepared to teach phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
