CAS Provisional Admission

Congratulations on having met the criteria for provisional acceptance to a master’s degree in the College of Arts and Sciences! Please read the following registration instructions carefully.

To take the next step in the process, complete the form below. If you have questions that you would like to discuss with a staff member, you can schedule a 15 minute appointment with a graduate enrollment coordinator by selecting a date and time on this form. If you are interested in choosing a graduate program that is outside of your undergraduate major department, please submit this form.

Additionally, the following programs in the College of Arts and Sciences DO NOT accept students provisionally:

MA in Anthropology
MA in Arts Management
MA in Art & Design for Social Impact
MS in Biological Sciences (MA is eligible)
MS in Chemistry, and MS in Medicinal Chemistry
MA in Communicative Disorders and Sciences
MS in Data Analytics for Social Sciences
MA in Linguistics
MS in Computational Linguistics
MS in Media Study
MA in Music Composition
MA in Psychology
MA in Sociology
MA in Visual Studies
All MFA, AuD and PhD programs
Graduate Interdisciplinary Degree Programs
All graduate programs outside the College of Arts and Sciences (ex. mental health counseling, school counseling, social work)
